Happy to be proven wrong but I know mine regularly regens and doesn't meet the above criteria, as I also said above you can't tell when the car is doing it so talk of differing exhaust notes etc. I also don't think the DPF regen is going to be impacted by amount of fuel agree that if you're running on fumes it might get funny. I do approx 15 miles (each way) and never go above 2000rpm during that time, even if I do for an overtake or pull off from the lights in 1st it's obviously not for 20 minutes. I'd disagree that there is a set criteria that needs to be met for a regen although I'm happy to be proved wrong.
